Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in 2017 which promotes high quality research work in areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT), cyber security, which generates publication in SCI and SCOPUS indexed journals and conferences. More than 40 research papers published in various journals and conferences by IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier, etc. The department has also filed patents in these relevant fields. The department is also equipped with NVIDIA-DGX-2 which is the world’s first 2 petaflops system, packing the power of 16 most advanced GPUs in the world.

Department of Mechatronics

Mechatronics program was started from 2018-19 session with a vision to promote advanced research and academics on global platform for grooming post graduate engineers capable of designing and developing mechatronics systems useful for mankind. It is an interdisciplinary program having students from different engineering backgrounds like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science & Engineering. Moreover, program promotes advanced research through full time PhD candidates. The Mechatronics program promotes high quality research work that gets published in SCI and SCOPUS indexed journals and conferences. The department of mechatronics is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities for research in the domains of robotics, additive manufacturing, and industrial automation, sensors, drives and control, etc.

Department of Nanotechnology

The Nanotechnology program at Centre for Advanced Studies was started in 2018 to rightfully establish and pursue interdisciplinary nature of the Centre carrying out research across several disciplines with a focus on nanoscale systems. Current research topics include, but are not limited to nano-electronics, MEMS/NEMS, nanomaterials and devices, photonics, nano-biotechnology, solar cells, battery and computational nano-engineering. The department also has a Micro and Nano Characterization facility (an ISO class 7 cleanroom facility to accommodate the latest industry standards) targets to offer a wide variety of ultra- low dimensional material and device characterization services enabled by the presence of highest grade and quality of characterization. The department offers PhD program having intake of candidates with background in most of the engineering as well as science fields.
