    Following are the hostel and accommodations details available for the Centre for Advanced Studies,AKTU:
    Girl's Hostel: Girls are accommodated at one of our nearby constituent Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Sitapur Rd, Sector F,Jankipuram, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226021 Institute of Engineering and Technology has four girls hostels named Apala, Gargi, Maitri and Sarojini. Applications are invited for girls hostel.
    Boy's Hostel: Boys Hostel facility is upcoming however PG(Paying Guests) accommodations and private Hostel facility is available within parameter of one to two kilometers.Both boys and Girls hostel facility (70 seater each) under institute premise is under construction and will be available soon.


    CAS has been amply blessed with fully equipped multi cuisine canteens present at strategic locations in college. Canteens is on contract basis with external caterers and provide quality food at student friendly prices. Hosting a wide array of cuisines and dishes, they cater to the needs of the students from every corner of country providing them home style food with no compromise on the quality.

    Sports Facilities

    To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. With this motto, CAS emphasizes the importance of sports and considers them as an integral part of the curriculum. CAS has a number of centres for physical and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit. Its numerous outdoor playgrounds and indoor courts are spread over campus.

    IT Infrastructure

    Centre for Technical Support (CTS) maintains the policies governing the use of CAS computing and IT communication resources. The IT Policy applies to the resources administered by the administrative departments such as Library, Computer Laboratories, Offices of the Institution, Hostels and Guest houses wherever the network facility was provided by the Institution. Further, all the faculty, students, staff, departments, authorized visitors/visiting faculty and others who may be granted permission to use the IT Infrastructure, and must comply with the guidelines. Certain violations of IT policy laid down by CAS by any institution member may even result in disciplinary action against the offender by the institution authorities. The acceptable use policies are applicable to Employees, Students, and Vendors & Visitors. CTS has framed various policy like Procurement, Installation, of Hardware, Network and software. E-mail account has been facilitated to Employee and students under E-mail Use policy which is reviewed and maintained whenever the modification happens. Website Hosting and Database Usage policy has its method and hierarchy which is followed systematically.


    Each hostel room is very spacious and is equipped with cooler along with attached bathroom facility.

In addition to traditional course materials, such as filmed lectures, readings, and problem sets, many MOOCs provide interactive courses with user forums or social media discussions to support community interactions among students, professors, and teaching assistants (TAs), as well as immediate feedback to quick quizzes and assignments. MOOCs are a widely researched development in distance education.
